Cricket fans all around England are watching today’s ICC World Twenty20 Cricket tournament matches with great interest. The 13th and 14th matches of the tournament are today and both games look to be not only excellent games but games where the average gent has a vested interest. This is a great time to support your favourite team with sky lanterns
Pakistan v England
The first game of the day is the first reseed for the second part of the tournament and features our own team England versus Pakistan. This match looks to be a stellar one as Pakistan surprised many in making it into the super eight portion of the tournament. Bangladesh lost their group A match to Pakistan handily even though they were favoured and gave the Pakistan the pass into the super 8 tourney. England did not fare well in the first round of the Twenty20 World cup standings, losing to the West Indies and receiving a NR in their other tournament match in the first round.
After England’s hopeful victory in this match, launching some blue night sky lanterns, available here: http://www.nightskylanterns.co.uk/sky-lanterns/coloured-traditional-sky-lanterns/prod_9.html, into the night sky will be an excellent way to celebrate the victory. If England does lose this match, perhaps switching to football would be better; after all, the World Cup is coming soon. You can show your disgust as well as your support of football with our football sky lanterns: http://www.nightskylanterns.co.uk/novelty-sky-lanterns/football-sky-lanterns/prod_26.html
South Africa v New Zealand
While not as emotional of a match to watch, due to there being less local pride on the line, the match between South Africa and New Zealand could prove to be a match for the annuls. South Africa has a long standing tradition of producing excellent Cricket teams and even with a loss in the first round, they look to be a strong contender. New Zealand, too, has a strong tradition but their grouping for the first portion of the tournament heavily favoured their advancement. Neither Sri Lanka nor Zimbabwe are truly up to the level of the competitors who made it to the Super Eights, as New Zealand proved in the first round. Their first real test will actually be today’s game against South Africa.
Support your far removed brothers today with the launch of sky lanterns. Red, White and Blue lanterns would be appropriate for a New Zealand win. They can be purchased separately or are part of the mixed bag of lanterns available here: http://www.nightskylanterns.co.uk/sky-lanterns/coloured-traditional-sky-lanterns/prod_9.html . Even if New Zealand loses, launch them anyway and watch your annoyance and sadness of the loss disappear into the night sky along with the lanterns.
