There was an exciting game that ensued yesterday between the two losers of the semi finals, Uruguay and Germany. Germany prevailed though for a 3-2 win. But today is really where it counts with the finals between Spain and Netherlands. Show your support of your favourite teams as well as your spirit for the game by launching flying lanterns.
What better way to support football than to have a World Cup football party that features football lanterns? Football lanterns can be found at http://www.nightskylanterns.co.uk/novelty-sky-lanterns/football-sky-lanterns/prod_26.htmland feature three different colours to suit your preferences. You can blue and white, red and white and of course, the traditional black and white. Another of the perfect novelty flying lanterns that would go well with a World Cup Party is the smiley flying lantern found at http://www.nightskylanterns.co.uk/novelty-sky-lanterns/smiley-face-sky-lanterns/prod_38.html. These are bright smiling lanterns that look great flying in the night sky.
In today’s finals of the World Cup Spain is favoured to win. However, do not discount Netherlands too quickly. They have advanced to the finals for a reason so they are definitely a contender. What better way to watch the excitement of the game as it unfolds than to enjoy the game on TV with a few friends, some good food, a pint of ale and fun rivalry between the teams? Whenever your favoured team scores, launch a flying lantern in honour of it. Or you can set off some flying lanterns before the event in anticipation of it or afterward to celebrate the win. Use your imagination to incorporate flying lanterns into your World Cup celebration. It is a great way to add fun and a festive atmosphere to any occasion or event.
If you do not have any smiley flying lanterns or football flying lanterns, you can still use whatever you have on hand. You should always make sure to have extra flying lanterns in either traditional white or coloured flying lanterns to use whenever you need them. This way, even if you don’t have a planned, scheduled event, you can still make sure you always have the ability to incorporate flying lanterns into your fun activities. You can customise your flying lanterns to whatever event you are holding.
For the World Cup party, you can use a sharpie marker and make the flying lanterns truly unique. For example, you can write players’ names or your favourite team on the flying lantern. Or you can draw a picture or simply write a special message or wish of luck before the flying lanterns drift off into the sky. The ways you can use flying lanterns are limited only by your imagination. But however you decide to use it, they will add a lot of fun to your event.
