The pumpkin sky lantern is a new product for us but being based on the traditional Chinese Hanging Lanterns we sell means we know quite a bit about it. These lanterns stand just under a meter tall and are a four sided, semi-square traditional shaped paper lantern. They come with our pre-attached, non-drop fuel cell which is another unique innovation that only NightSkyLanterns.co.uk’s lanterns have. We’ve had the vendor up the size of the fuel cell just slightly for this run so they will soar for up to twenty minutes and with the bright colour and the strong design, people from miles around will know exactly why the lanterns they see were launched.

On top of being stunning to look at, we spared nothing in ensuring the pumpkin sky lanterns were 100% environmentally responsible. Using our ECO designed lanterns as a basis, these pumpkin sky lanterns are made of fire-retardant paper that is 100% biodegradable and there is absolutely no wire used anywhere in the lantern. Instead, specially treated wool fibres are used to support the bottom of the lantern as well as the pre-attached fuel cell. When the lantern extinguishes itself, it gracefully lands and starts breaking down immediately with worry about harming wildlife or livestock in the process.
